In the new media environment,Bengbu is faced with the challenge of inheriting and promoting the city's cultural memory.This paper discusses methods of inheriting and promoting Bengbu's urban cultural memory by establishing a digital urban memory database,developing mobile applications,using social media platforms,holding online cultural activities,promoting urban cultural tourism,strengthening urban planning and construction,and cultivating citizens'cultural awareness.These paths can provide some help for the inheritance and promotion of urban cultural memory in Bengbu,and specific strategies and measures need to be formulated according to the characteristics and actual situation of the city.
