Shizuizi Wharf in Ningxia has been one of the important commercial ferry ports in the upper reaches of the Yellow River since ancient times due to its advantageous geographical condition.Since modern times to the reform and opening up,the wharf has risen and fallen several times,and was eventually replaced by a new mode of transportation and withdrew from the historical stage.Shizuizi Wharf has rich historical connotation in water transportation,urban construction,national communication and military struggle.These historical connotations are important reference factors for the construction of pier site park,the promotion of cultural and tourist integration and the promotion of Yellow River culture.
