Need is a core concept in the history of human self-understanding and plays a key role in the development of human society.Many philosophers in history have tried to examine human needs from their own perspectives,but for various reasons,they have failed to reach a consensus on this issue.Different from previous researchers,Marx uses historical materialism and the method of political economy to study the relationship between actual human needs and human nature,social production and personal development,and thus proposes a profound understanding of human needs,which promotes a fundamental change in the theoretical study of human needs in the history of philosophy and has important research value.
