On Achieving the"Double-Carbon"Goal by Carbon Audit
Achieving the goal of"double carbon"is not only an inevitable requirement for promoting high-quality social and economic development in China,but also a major decision concerning the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.As a key evaluation mechanism in the environmental supervision system,carbon audit should give full play to its positive effects and provide a solid guarantee and effective escort for achieving the strategic goal of"carbon peaking and carbon neutrality".However,our country's carbon audit is still in its infancy stage for the present,and the following problems still exist:the big carbon gap in audit talent demand,imperfect related laws and regulations,single mechanism in carbon audit organization,the difficulty in carbon audit criterion,and so on.Targeting at these problems,corresponding improvement suggestions should be put forward for promoting our country's carbon audit development and providing certain reference significance.
