Integrating local historical materials into undergraduate history teaching in local colleges is an effective way to enrich the teaching content.This paper focuses on modern history resources of Guizhou,and probes into the teaching value and the practice path of integrating local historical materials into Modern Chinese History.It is expected that this attempt will enrich the teaching content and make the teaching livelier and more localized.Therefore,some measures are suggested to make the teaching of modern Chinese history more effective:adopting a variety of teaching methods,stimulating students'interest in learning,and cultivating their ability to analyze and study historical issues.
