A Study on the Emotions of the Prose Autumn Memories from the Perspective of Stylistics
Memories of Autumn is a prose written by contemporary Chinese writer Shi Tiesheng in 1981.Due to its beautiful writing style and simple content,the prose gets favored by readers.In the 1990s,it was translated into English by the sinologist and translator,Nicky Harman,and received widespread attention and praises from the Western world.This article elaborates on the concept of stylistics,identifies literary styles,and analyzes the emotional expression in the article from the perspectives of drawing materials from daily life,stimulating emotions through contradictions,and highlighting emotions in content comparison.
