External Communication of Mainstream Media for Association of Southeast Asian Nations under the"Belt and Road"Initiative
The"Belt and Road"initiative has deepened the economic and trade exchanges,cultural exchanges and political mutual trust between our country and the countries along the route,enabling the construction of a community of human destiny.The ten countries in ASEAN(Association of Southeast Asian Nations)are the partners and main objects of China's continuous promotion of the"Belt and Road"initiative.Studying the peripheral communication theory and promoting the modernization of external communication can not only narrow the relationship between China and countries along the route,but also strengthen the international competitiveness of China's mainstream media and continue to promote the implementation of the"Belt and Road"initiative.In view of the practical significance and challenges of strengthening ASEAN communication,this paper puts forward strategies of optimizating mainstream media for ASEAN external communication,such as giving full play to national power,building top-level design,accurate communication and rich reporting content.
