The Significance,Framework,and Practical Strategies of Quality Culture Construction in Undergraduate Universities——A Perspective Based on Huang Yanpei's View on Vocational Education Quality
Vocational undergraduate universities are an emerging form of higher education.The rapid development of a distinct quality culture is crucial for these institutions to address societal concerns,boost core competitiveness,and enable the growth of new productive capacities.Drawing on Huang Yanpei's perspective on vocational education quality and aligning with the objectives of vocational undergraduate education,this study identifies and organizes six key elements of quality culture,and proposes an integrated framework for cultivating a quality culture in vocational universities that synergizes these elements.It's proposed that the emerging vocational undergraduate universities should foster a quality culture that prioritizes the internalization of quality values and the development of corresponding behaviors.This can be achieved through abiding by the school-running orientation,optimizing organizational and institutional structures,innovating in talent development,strengthening integrated faculty teams,incorporating advanced quality cultures from businesses,and enhancing quality control and evaluation mechanisms.
