The specialty of art design aims to train innovative and applied talents with the teaching key of improving students'innovative design ability.For addressing the problems in the teaching of poster design,such as homogenization,unreasonable curriculum system,single teaching method and disconnection with market demand,the following measures are suggested to take:cultivating students'innovative thinking guided by reforming teaching contents,cultivating students'practical ability by teaching methods,and cultivating students'learning attitude by teaching evaluation.
