Analysis of Error Types and Post-Translation Editing Measures in English-Chinese Machine Translation
In order to improve the level and quality of English-Chinese translation,there is a need to adjust translation methods according to error types of English-Chinese machine translation.It becomes indispensable to combine machine translation and post-translation editing,because both translation modes have their own advantages and disadvantages.This paper probes into the common error types of machine translation from lexical,grammatical and text aspects,and determines basic modification strategies of post-translation editing by virtue of different example sentences.The integration of machine translation and post translation editing is beneficial for improving the accuracy of machine translation and the fluency of the translation,and significantly enhances the efficiency of English-Chinese translation,which has the value of popularization and application.
