The relationship between teacher support based on self-determination theory and music performance anxiety is of great significance to improve the psychology of learning performance.A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 340 undergraduate musicians.The results go as the following:firstly,undergraduate musicians may enjoy a supportive environment and they have a healthy experience of nervousness on stage;teacher support was found to negatively predict music performance anxiety has a significant negative predictive effect on musical performance anxiety;autonomy support has the greatest predictive effect on cognitive anxiety,while relatedness support has the greatest predictive effect on somatic anxiety.
