More interactions took place between Zhong Fang and Wang Yangming Zhong Fang,both known as"Great Scholars in Linghai".According to the documents,in April of Zhengde 10th Year(1515),they visited the landscape with other friends in Nanjing,exchanging views on philosophy.In November 1527,when Wang Yangming arrived in Wuzhou,Guangxi,Zhong Fang invited him to give a lecture at the newly-built Wushan Academy,viewing his understanding on the"unity of knowledge and action",which was recognized by Wang Yangming.When Wang Yangming solicited suggestions from Guangxi officials to put down the rebellion of Si county and Tian county,Zhong Fang suggested the strategy of appeasement,which coincided with Wang Yangming.Zhong Fang assisted Wang Yangming in suppressing the bandits in the area around the Duanteng Gorge in Guangxi.Based on their experiences,the possibility of their association in Beijing and Jiangxi exist as well.
