At the end of pouring,there is a flow phenomenon of converging vortices under the slag,which can cause pollution of the steel liquid,blockage of the water outlet,erosion of the lining refractory material and other hazards.This article takes a 150 t ladle from a certain factory as the background,conducts numerical simulation research on the flow behavior of molten steel during the ladle pouring process,establishes a mathematical model of the ladle pouring process,and obtains the fluid flow characteristics at the end of the ladle pouring process.In actual production,the opening of the long nozzle slide plate is used to suppress slag in the ladle during the later stage of pouring,which improves the cleanliness of the molten steel and the metal yield.
