EFFECT OF CARBON COATING ON ISOTHERMAL REDUCTION OF MAGNETITE POWDER
Carbon-coated vanadium titanium magnetite magnetite was prepared by hydrothermal carbon method. The samples were heated at 600 ℃,700 ℃,800 ℃,900 ℃,1 000 ℃ and 1 100 ℃ for 2 hours in CO atmosphere, the reduction of carbon-coated ore powder was studied, and its morphology and phase composition were analyzed. The results show that the reduction degree of vanadium titanium magnetite can be improved by carbon coating, and the metallization rate after reduction can be increased,it can also inhibit the growth of iron whisker during the reduction of vanadium titanium magnetite.
