STUDY ON WELDING PERFORMANCE OF 650 MPa STEEL FOR LIGHTWEIGHT WHEEL RIM
The cold crack sensitivity index and welding CCT curve of 650 MPa steel for lightweight wheel rim was studied,the microstructures and hardnesses of the thermal simulated welded joints at different cooling rates were analyzed,the welding processes of the wheel rim for downstream user was formulated,and the heat affect zone was analyzed as well.Research shows that 650 MPa steel for lightweight wheel rim has low hardenability and good weldability.
