DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH OF NORMALIZED HIGH-STRENGTH MARINE GRADE EH36 STEEL PLATE IN LIU GANG
This paper outlines the development and trial manufacturing process of the normalized high-strength marine grade EH36 steel plate by Liuzhou Iron and Steel Group.Utilizing a ferrite-pearlite composition system along with a mi-croalloying design incorporating Nb+V+Ti,and adhering to strict two-stage controlled rolling,a suitable normalizing ther-mal process was implemented.This approach resulted in the development of normalized high-strength,high-toughness and low-temperature series of products.Consequently,it expanded the range of ship plate varieties produced by Liu Gang and provided a foundational design for the development of products for the 3 800 mm medium and heavy plate unit at the coastal Fangchenggang base.
