CAUSE AND IMPROVEMENT MEASURES FOR INCOMPLETE REMOVAL OF BURRS ON CONTINUOUS CASTING SLABS
Based on the on-site use of four hammer slab deburring machines of 1# continuous caster and 2# continuous caster of the steelmaking division of Tangshan Iron and Steel Group Co.,Ltd.,the factors leading to the impurity of slab burrs were analyzed,and the corresponding technical and management measures were formulated.Practice has shown that by improving the functional accuracy standard of the equipment and the awareness of the equipment by of the inspector,adding the emergency response measures in the abnormal conditions of the deburring machine,and developing real-time monitoring devices for deburring effects,the probability of incomplete deburring of slab head and tail can be effectively reduced,and the surface quality of slab products can be improved.
