STUDY AND APPLICATION OF HIGH TEMPERATURE PLASTICITY OF 45CRNIMOV STEEL CASTING BILLET
The Gleeble-3800 thermal simulation testing machine was used to conduct high-temperature mechanical property tests on 45CrNiMoV steel casting billet in the temperature range of 600~1 300℃.At the same time,optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy were used to observe and analyze the matrix structure and fracture morphology,and the fracture mechanism in different temperature ranges was obtained.The results show that at a strain rate of 1×10-3 s-1,the first high-temperature brittle zone of 45CrNiMoV steel billet is 1 143~1 300℃,and the fracture surface of the sample is flat and smooth,indicating brittle fracture;889~1 143℃is the high-temperature plastic zone,with obvious ductile dimples on the fracture surface,indicating ductile fracture;the third low-temperature brittle zone is 600~889℃,the fracture surface belongs to a typical transgranular brittle fracture.According to the research results of high-temperature mechanical properties,when the straightening temperature of the continuous casting billet is controlled in the high-temperature plastic zone,there are no defects such as surface and center cracks in the billet,and the quality of the billet is good.
