Reflection on Current Status of Application and Inheritance of Jing Fang(Classic Formula)in Pediatrics
Children's internal organs are delicate,the form and Qi is not yet full,the Lungs,Spleen and Kidneys are often weak,and the Fire of the Heart and Liver is often hyperactive.The application of Jing Fang(Classic Formula)in treating pediatric diseases should fo-cus on the simplicity and specialization of medicine,i.e.,the structure of the prescription is clear,the less kinds of the medicine the better,with high-level specialization effect and clinical efficacy,and the method of Zhongjing's protection Fluid and storage of the Yin can be carried out.When applying Jing Fang to treat pediatric diseases,the treatment should be based on the physical characteristics of the child.If the child is often deficient in the Lung,with Qi disorder,prescriptions such as Xiaoqinglong Decoction,Shegan Mahuang Decoction and Maxing Ganshi Decoction can be used to treat asthma,and prescriptions such as Maxing Ganshi Decoction and Xi-aochaihu Decoction can be used to treat pneumonia and coughing;If the child is often deficient in the Spleen,and there is a disorder in the Qi movement of the Spleen,Gegen Qinlian Decoction,Lizhong Pill and Wuling Powder can be used to treat diarrhea,and Guizhi De-coction,Lizhong Pill and Sini Powder can be used to treat abdominal pain and stomach pain;If the child is always deficient in the Kid-ney and there is a disorder in the Qi transformation of the Kidney,Guizhi Decoctiion,Shenqi Pill and Guizhi Jia Longgu Muli Decoction can be used to treat urorrhea and Fangji Huangqi Decoction and Wuling Powder can be used to treat edema;If the child is often defi-cient in the Heart and suffers from Heat due to evil factors,Zhigancao Decoction,Xiaochaihu Decoction and Guizhi Decoction can be used to treat viral myocarditis,and Guizhi Gancao Longgu Muli Decoction,Guizhi Decoctiion,Wumei Decoction and Ganmai Dazao De-coction can be used to treat insomnia;If the child suffer excess syndrom in the Liver with unfavorable pivot of Qi with evil factors,Caihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction,Caihu Guizhi Decoction,Sini Powder and Banxia Houpo Decoction can be used to treat hyperactivity disor-der.In addition,there are innovations in the application of Jing Fang in treatment of pediatric diseases.Some Chinese patent medicines with remarkable efficacy and easy portability,such as Xiaoer Feire Kechuan Granule,Xiaoer Chiqiao Qingre Granule and Yizhihuang Granule,have been produced in applied in clinics.
