Methodology on Traditional Chinese Medicine Formulation of Clinical Practice Guidelines and Expert Consensus
The development of clinical practice guidelines for traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)requires scientific and standardized methodological guidance.Driven by the standardization of traditional Chinese medicine, the number of TCM guidelines issued in China has increased rapidly, and although the methodological quality of the guidelines has gradually improved, certain methodological problems still exist. Therefore, key aspects of guideline development, such as the establishment of guideline working groups, declaration of conflict of interest, construction of clinical questions, evidence retrieval and screening, evidence grading and recommendation, and guideline up-dating,were analyzed and considered. In addition, some Chinese medicine guidelines have problems such as the number and name of"syndrome identification and typing",and the recommendation method is not standardized, etc. We also put forward the idea of construc-ting a system for screening and evaluating the evidence of"syndrome identification and typing"in Chinese medicine guidelines and consensus.
