The connotation of the thought that"leaving patient untreated in certain case"is as follows:in the process of medical treat-ment,the doctor comprehensively examines and analyzes the"situation"related to medical treatment,and then concludes that the cur-rent"situation"of the disease is not suitable for treatment.In other words,there is"no treatment"due to the"situation"of the dis-ease.The thought that"leaving patient untreated in certain case"has sufficient philosophical basis and solid medical basis.The appli-cation strategy based on the idea can be the follows:(1)the current situation is not suitable for treatment,or the case is unsuitable for treatment temporarily(3 types,such as"no treatment when there is extremely weakness of Zheng Qi,which should be cared and main-tained cautiously,""no treatment when there is rampant Evil Factor until it declines,""no treatment when there is contraindication of the case to avoid greater risk");(2)When the potential for self-healing is sufficiently abundant,there should be no treatment during the time;(3)When there are limitations in medication respect,the objective law should be respected even if patient should not be left untreated blindly but objective law should be respected.
