Chronic endometritis(CE)is the result of chronic inflammation,the main cause of which is microbial infection.The patho-genesis of CE is closely related to the abnormal accumulation of neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs),which can restrict and kill mi-croorganisms and participate in thrombosis and immunoregulation.NETs can restrict and kill microorganisms and participate in thrombo-sis and immune regulation in the body.When the formation and elimination of NETs reach a balance,it is beneficial to the body;however,pathological processes such as chronic infections or autoimmune disorders can disrupt this balance,directly causing tissue damage and increase inflammatory response.According to Chinese medicine,this is caused by the deficiency of Wei Qi in chronic diseases and the Wei Qi deficiency.The evil factor Qi stagnates,and Wei Qi get blocked and Ying blood movement is affected.Long-term illness would cause further deficiency of Wei Qi and Ying blood stasis would take place.Ying blood stagnation cannot tonify Qi and causes"Rong Wei Ji Liu"and then"Rong Wei Ji Liu-abnormal accumulation of NETs-CE correlation.
