On the Construction of Evaluation Indicators for the Digital Competence of University Teachers in the Digital Era
Constructing evaluation indicators for the digital competence of university teachers is not on-ly a necessary requirement for enhancing teachers'digital competence but also essential for advanc-ing the digital transformation of higher education.Based on a mixed-method research approach of be-havioral event interviews,this study has developed an evaluation system of five primary indicators and twenty-four secondary indicators,with detailed calculations of their respective weights.Based on the results of the indicator construction and weight analysis,the following enhancement measures are pro-posed:developing a systematic training program for improving teachers'digital competence,innovat-ing models for digital competence development and establishing a long-term tracking mechanism for the continuous development of teachers'digital competence.
