A Case Study of the Organizational Mode and Path of Innova-tion Federations in the Yangtze River Delta Region
Innovation consortia,as something brand new,are in the ascendant and have been explored in multiple levels,forms,subjects,and modes in China.Taking the practical exploration of Suzhou's intervention in the medical technology innovation consortium and the practical exploration of the Yangtze River Delta Biomedical Materials and Devices Industry Innovation Alliance as case studies,this paper analyzes the effectiveness of Suzhou's innovation consortium in promoting technological in-novation and industrial development.The innovation consortium in the new era is an important explo-ration for implementing the innovation-driven development strategy and accelerating the construction of a technological powerhouse.It is an organic combination of government demand based on public in-terest orientation and market demand based on economic interest orientation.It is a high-degree align-ment between national macro strategic needs and micro organizational demands,an important lever for promoting industrial innovation clusters and regional integration,as well as an important way for deep integration of innovation and industrial chains.
