Reflection and Practice of Integrating University Research-Based Learning into the Curriculum
The increasingly changing professional world requires university graduates to be willing to engage in lifelong learning.More than ever,generic/transversal skills must be promoted and developed during the course of study in addition to subject-specific skills to meet the dynamic demands of the la-bour market.This article discusses the suitability and implementation of the innovative teaching for-mat of Collaborative Research-Based Learning in higher education for competency development.It is argued that it is an effective approach to developing and fostering the currently much-discussed and re-hearsed Future Skills.Furthermore,an example is provided to illustrate a tangible way in which the format can be integrated into the university teaching.
