Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics is the only course focusing on random phe-nomena in the series of basic university mathematics curriculum.In the modern battlefield,facing the massive information and the rapidly changing battlefield,military commanders must have the qualified abilities of random thinking and data processing.With the OBE concept,the course is divided into two modules for the cultivation of the two abilities,and each module consists of four sub-modules;the teaching methods and modes are also reformed accordingly with the characteristics of military schools,so as to achieve the goals of knowledge transfer,ability formation,and the cultivation of core values.
