The Application of ChatGPT in Teaching Objectives Design of Four University-level Chemistry Courses—Taking the Teaching of Aromaticity as an Example
In the new era of deepening higher education reform,the development of course objectives have emerged as a pivotal concern in instructional practice.ChatGPT is a kind of innovative AI tool,which has been employed in designing teaching objectives of four university-level chemistry courses.By generating aromaticity-related teaching objectives and integrating a question-and-answer segment through ChatGPTs self-training ability,the shift of teaching objectives from a subject-centered approach towards a focus on nurturing and enhancing students'core competencies has been realized.Consequently,it offers valuable insights for the creation of more comprehensive and enriching teaching goals.
