Exploration of Integrating Carbon Neutrality Content in Chemical Engineering Thermodynamic Teaching under the Background of Emerging Engineering Education
Regarding the issue that the traditional teaching content of chemical engineering thermodynamics not closely aligned with national needs and the latest developments in industry,this article aims at the cultivation of new engineering talents,proposes to introduce relevant content about carbon neutrality.By selecting the latest scientific and technological development cases at home and abroad,we integrate a three-step approach to realize carbon neutrality,which including source carbon reduction,process carbon control,and end-point decarbonization,into the teaching content of chemical engineering thermodynamics.Starting from innovative teaching concepts and method,we reflect whole life-cycle carbon control within the curriculum,in order to improve the depth,breadth and innovation of teaching,and cultivate students'abilities to analyze and solve new engineering problems,thereby to lay foundation for creating a higher level of teaching,learning,and doing teaching model.
