Chemical safety is closely related to the development of pillar industries in China,but currently there is a serious shortage of composite talents in chemical safety,which restricts the high-quality development of the chemical industry.The specialty of chemical safety engineering at Nanjing Tech University has established an undergraduate talent training system characterized by intrinsic safety in chemical engineering.Based on the existing national first-class undergraduate major construction program of the college,it constructs a characteristic talent training system integrating curriculum chain,talent chain and industry chain.The concept of intrinsic safety in chemical engineering is integrated into the teaching and practice,to cultivate advanced composite talents of chemical safety in scientific research,technology,and management,providing talent support for the upgrading of chemical and related process industries in China.
