As a special entrepreneurial group,whether farmers can take advantage of the Internet to better break through their own development bot-tlenecks and external conditions,to obtain more entrepreneurial opportunities,and to promote entre-preneurial behavior,is of great significance to stim-ulate innovation and entrepreneurship in agriculture and rural areas to create vitality.This article focuses on the entrepreneurial behavior of farmers,expands the analysis idea of entrepreneurial behavior of farmers from the two dimensions of entrepreneurial occurrence and process,constructs a theoretical analysis framework of Internet utilization,agricultural land transferred out and entrepreneurial behavior of farmers,and based on the data of the Chinese Family Panel Studies,researches the impact of Internet utilization on the entrepreneurial behavior of farmers at the household level,and explores whether the Internet utilization is an opportunity to crack the entrepreneurial dilemma of farmers.The results of the study show that Internet utilization significantly promotes the entrepreneurial behavior of farmers,and this conclusion still holds after using the propensity score matching and instrumental var-iable method to solve the problems of functional form setting and endogeneity;further verifying the mediating mechanism of agricultural land transferred out in the process of Internet utilization affecting the entrepreneurial behavior of farmers,it is found that agricultural land transferred out is the mediating factor of Internet utilization affecting the entrepre-neurial behavior of farm households;the heteroge-neity analysis shows that the promotion effect of Internet utilization on the entrepreneurial behavior of farmers is more significant in high-income level households and low-education level households.The study concludes that accelerating the construc-tion of'new infrastructure'in rural areas and the action plan for the development of digital villages,constructing a system for promoting the utilization of the Internet by farmers that integrates publicity,guidance and training,and creating a guidance platform for the in-depth fusion of Internet technol-ogy and the entrepreneurial behaviors of farmers will help to further promote the utilization of the Internet for the promotion of entrepreneurship in farmers.
