Vibration FEA of Clamped Fluid-conveying Pipeline with Fluid-structure Interaction Effect
The cause of fluid-conveying pipeline vibration with fluid-structure interaction ( FSI) was presented, then the vibration simulation of diluted methanol pipe in service was implemented while the stress was calculated with ANSYS-CFX. Through modal analysis, the self-vibration characteristics of the pipe with FSI can be obtained, and compared with the pipe neglecting the interaction, the natural frequency can be decreased by 15% ; and through two-way FSI simulation, the pipeline deformation and Mises stress distribution map can be reached.
