Experimental Study on Residual Cake Removal Rate of Stirred Tank Filter with Air Blowing Device
Aiming at the residual filter cake after the discharging of stirred tank filter,an air-blowing de-vice was designed for test.The effects of different nozzle types,nozzle blowing angles,and nozzle height from the surface of filter cake on the removal rate of residual filter cake were experimentally studied.The test results show that,the removal rate of residual filter cake becomes the highest as for the slotted blow nozzle selected together with a 45° nozzle purging angle,100-mm-nozzle height from the filter cake sur-face,0.3 MPa air source pressure and a 15 min purging time.The results can provide a reference for the industrial application of the device.
