Simulation and Structural Optimization Steam Relief Valve
Making use of ANSYS CFX flow field simulation technology to research both flow field displace-ment and lift coefficient of the steam relief valve optimized for boiler pipeline was implemented.The results show that,the opening height of the optimized steam relief valve is reasonable and it has better discharge performance;as for the critical discharge coefficient of 0.400 to 0.497,the flow resistance loss becomes small.After optimizing the disc structure,the lift curve becomes improved and which can quickly reach the opening height as required and the pressure there can be relieved and vibration there be reduced.
