Investigation of rare and endangered plants in Yingshan County of Hubei Province
By analyzing the composition of the rare and endangered plant in Yingshan County,we found there are 24 spe-cies rare plants,14 of which are national key preserved wild plants,1 species at protection Level I,13 species at protec-tion Level II,accounting for 30.4%,10.5% and 36.075% respectively in the distribution of Hubei Province.In addition, there were 18 species of national rare and endangered plants,8 species at Level II,10 species at Level III,accounting for 29.0%,33.3% and 28.6% respectively in the distribution of Hubei Province.This area has characteristics of vertical and concentrated distribution,small population,and serious fragmentation.Reasonable measures for the protection of the rare and endangered species in the area are proposed to provide guidance for the protection and utilization of the rare and en-dangered plant resources in Yingshan County.
