The daily processing fluid volume of the first oil production plant--Zhangqu Central Treatment Station of Changqing Oilfield Branch Company is about 2200 m3, and the dosing demulsifier is XL type demulsifier.This station often has the problems of high emulsion lay er and exceeding water content in overflow port, besides, the dosage of the used demulsifier per year can reach up to 170 tons with a high production c ost.By oil analysis , dosing process investigation and drug experiment to find out the possible factors influencing the effect of demulsification, besides,a ccording to this, take indoor experiment evaluation on the 14 kinds of demulsifier and take field application for the selected HDS - 41 type demulsifier. In the condition that the water content in crude oil of settling tank overflow port is less than 0.03%, reduce the additive concentration to half of the or iginal and after the processing, the water quality reaches the standard level and gets a significant effect.
