Screening of Low-temperature Nitrifying Bacteria and Its Application Research on Ammonia Nitrogen Removal Performance
In response to the difficulty in removing ammonia nitrogen during low-temperature wastewater treatment,a low temperature resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain was selected from the activated sludge of the secondary sedimentation tank of urban sewage treatment plants in Xinjiang under 12℃conditions,and named Pseudomonas veronii A4.A study was conducted on the ammonia nitrogen removal characteristics of strain A4.The optimal carbon source for strain A4 was sodium succinate. With sodium succinate as the carbon source and a COD/N of 5,the NH4+-N removal rate was 50.82%after 24 hours.
