Study on Sedimentary Characteristics of Y214 Ultra-low Permeability Multi Layer Reservoir
The ultra-low permeability multi-layered reservoir in the Ordos Basin has the characteristics of low permeability, complex and changeable layer structure, and strong heterogeneity, which has a great deal of peculiarity. In order to improve the benefits of reservoir development in Block Y214,this paper studies the geological characteristics of this area through core and logging data, and re-understands the sedimentary facies and sand body distribution characteristics of Chang 4+5 and Chang 6 reservoirs. The results show that there are delta front surfaces in the study area, which mainly include three sedimentary microfacies:underwater distributary channel, distributary bay,and estuary bar.The planar distribution of sand bodies in the study area is controlled by sedimentary microfacies. The sand bodies in the direction of provenance have good connectivity, and under differential compaction, nose bulges develop in the east-west direction. The study of the sedimentary characteristics of the Y214 block in this paper is of great significance for the exploration and development of this reservoir.
