Experimental Study on the Conditions of X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy and Melting Method of Calcium Carbide Slag
When using X-ray fluorescence spectrometry(XRF)to determine the composition of calcium carbide slag, the process of preparing the calcium carbide slag sample by the fusion method will have a certain impact on the accuracy of the test.A detailed analysis of the sample preparation method by the fusion method was conducted.Among them, the experimental conditions such as sample particle size, oxidant, flux and dilution ratio were systematically studied.By optimizing the experimental steps, the efficiency and reliability of sample melting and molding were improved. The results show that when the sample particle size is above 200 mesh, after high-temperature calcination of the calcium carbide slag sample, using a mixed flux of lithium tetraborate and lithium metaborate and a dilution ratio of 1:10 for sample melting, the sample molding effect is good.
