Agricultural Industrialization and Commercialization with Agricultural High-Quality and Safe Development:a Perspective of the Big Food Concept
Facing the new economic pattern,the"Big Food Concept"has set new ideas and directions for China's agricultural development.Based on the concept of"Big Food",this paper analyses the impact of agricultural industrialization and commercialization on the High Quality & Safe development of agriculture,reexamines and measures the total factor productivity indicators of China's agriculture,and carries out empirical tests and discussions with the help of data from 31 province level samples from 2010 to 2020.The findings of the study are:(1)Agricultural industrialization and commercialization can boost the High Quality & Safe development of China's agriculture.(2)The results of the mechanism test show that agricultural industrialization and commercialization helps China's agriculture to achieve High Quality &Safe development through two paths:efficiently transmitting food demand information and promoting the quality of land resources.(3)Further research found that agricultural industrialization and commercialization has driven the production of animal protein food and the improvement of food quality and safety,which can comprehensively protect the dietary safety of Chinese residents,and more effectively promote the construction of the"Blue Granary"in the conceptual meaning of the concept of the Big Food Concept.This paper reveals the internal logic of agricultural industrialization and commercialization in helping to build a diversified food supply system to meet the diversified dietary consumption needs of the population from the perspective of the Big Food Concept,and provides new policy inspiration and empirical evidence for the implementation of the new concept of the Big Food Concept and the safeguarding of national food sovereignty and security.
