Reading humanistic classics is of great significance for higher vocational college students to enrich their cultural heritage,improve their personality traits and enhance their overall quality.A survey shows that vocational college students have a high degree of identification with reading humanities classics and have diverse reading methods,but they have a low reading volume,shallow reading levels,narrow reading scope and strong reading inertia.To improve the quality of reading humanities classics for vocational college students,it is necessary to expand the channels for promoting classic reading,carry out a series of activities related to classic reading,strengthen the construction of school hardware facilities,and establish a long-term mechanism for classic reading on the basis of doing a good job in promoting and guiding classic reading.
