Rural Cultural Memory Transformation from the Perspective of Cultural Digitalization Strategy
The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China explicitly proposes the implementation of a national strategy for cultural digitalization,providing a contemporary pathway for the digital transformation of rural cultural memory.Rural cultural memory is an integral part of traditional Chinese culture,and its revitalization is also a key component of Xi Jinping's cultural thought.The transformation in the current digital era is not only an essential path for the revitalization of rural culture,but also a high-level response to the requirements of national strategy and Xi Jinping's cultural thought.To achieve the digital transformation of rural cultural memory,it is crucial to clarify the construction logic of rural cultural memory in terms of its temporal-spatial scenography,framework-oriented collectivity,and identity-based authenticity.However,the digital transformation of rural cultural memory still faces numerous challenges,primarily reflected in the difficulty of accurately capturing the metaphorical nature of cultural memory,the lack of protection of the original authenticity of rural culture,the imbalance in participants in cultural memory digitalization,and the disconnect between digitalization technology and cultural memory practice.Therefore,this article reconstructs the approach to digital memory construction from perspectives such as the transformation of cultural memory from text"symbolism"to"situation",the reconstruction of characteristic memory situations,the elevation of subject status,and the practical implementation of digitalization technology in the transformation of cultural memory.This provides solutions for achieving the transformation of rural cultural memory under the vision of the cultural digitalization strategy.
