Design and Experiment of an Intelligent Enteromorpha prolifera Salvage Device Based on Visual Recognition
A visual recognition based intelligent Enteromorpha prolifera salvage device is de-signed to address the issues of low efficiency and low automation of existing seaweed salvage de-vices.The device is mainly divided into hardware and software systems. The hardware system mainly consists of a collection belt,an electric hydraulic push rod,a conveyor belt, and a packa-ging and dehydration device, with a simple structure that can be directly used with ships. In addi-tion,an electric hydraulic push rod has been added to adjust the water depth of the collection belt to meet the fishing needs of different thicknesses of seaweed under different sea conditions. The software system includes an upper computer mounted on a high-performance computer and a mo-nitoring system. The upper computer includes three control modes and is mutually backup, which improves the robustness of the system and ensures safety and reliability for offshore opera-tions.The intelligent control unit includes visual sensors, programmable logic controllers(PLC),remote controllers, and button control components.Through visual recognition and in-telligent control technology,it realizes the task of autonomously identifying, switching work modes, and salvaging Enteromorpha prolifera. The effectiveness of the intelligent Enteromor-pha prolifera salvage device has been verified through the design and manufacturing of the device and sea trials.
