Growth Promotion Effects and Transcriptome Analysis of Marine Bacteria PDA46 on Tomato
To explore the effect of marine Bacillus amyloliquefaciens PDA46 on the growth and development of tomato seedlings, the experiment was firstly conducted to detect the effects of strain PDA46 on the fresh and dry mass of tomato seedlings and the fresh and dry mass of roots by potting and root irrigation, after which the young leaves of stem tips were collected for tran-scriptome sequencing and analyzed for the expression and regulation of differentially expressed genes in tomato seedlings under the action of the marine bacterium PDA46 by GO enrichment and KEGG pathway enrichment. The results showed that marine bio-control bacteria PDA46 had good growth-promoting effects on tomato plants, and the promotion effect of fermentation broth at the concentration of 5.75×108 CFU/mL was significantly higher than that of 5.75×104 CFU/mL.Compared with the control group, the fresh weight, dry weight, root fresh weight and root dry weight of tomato seedlings increased significantly by 24.3%,10.7%,48.2%and 33.3%(P<0.05).Transcriptome analysis of stem tip leaves identified 1 576 differentially expressed expres-sion genes(DEGs).GO enrichment analysis showed that DEGs were mainly enriched in cell scaf-fold,microtubule cytoskeleton, nuclease activity, cell cycle and so on.KEGG pathway enrich-ment analysis found that DEGs was mainly concentrated in carbon metabolism, plant hormone signal transduction, pyruvate metabolism, phenylalanine metabolism, fatty acid degradation and other metabolic pathways. In summary, marine bacteria PDA46 can significantly promote the growth of tomato seedlings and promote the differential expression of plant growth-related genes and disease resistance genes. This experiment can provide a new strain resource for the research and development of marine microbial agents.
