Visual Representation,Discourse and Function:Three Perspectives of Studying the Yellow River Images
The image study of the Yellow River is of great value under the background of the times, but it is also a difficult problem under the pressure of practice and theory. In this paper, three key issues of the Yellow River image research are extracted from the visual representation of images to sort out the existing research results:the Yellow River visual image research, the Yellow River image discourse research and the Yellow River image function research, and then enter the Yellow River image problem from this logical starting point. It is found that there are abundant achievements in the study of the Yellow River images from the perspective of traditional art history, but in today's prevailing visual culture,a more developed attitude should be adopted in the research methods and writing boundaries of the Yellow River images, and a more systematic and in-depth study should be carried out from the perspective of"images",so as to have more realistic concern and practical significance.
