Exploring the Development and Utilization of Water Conservancy Ancient Books and Archives Resources
China is one of the earliest countries to develop water conservancy projects in the world.Ancient water conservancy books contain rich historical and cultural information,which not only records the design concept,construction technology and management experience of ancient water conservancy projects,but also contains a lot of accounts about irrigation,flood control and water transportation,which is an important historical witness to the economic,political and cultural development of ancient society,and has the triple significance of books,files and documents[1].This paper discusses the characteristics and value of ancient water conservancy books,the present situation of the utilization of archives of ancient water conservancy books,and puts forward feasible sug-gestions for the effective development and utilization of archives of ancient water conservancy books.
