Research on Improving the Legal Literacy of the Elderly Group from the Perspective of New Media
With the rapid development of information technology,the role of new media in enhancing the legal lit-eracy of the elderly population is becoming increasingly prominent.The popularization of new media helps to timely inform the elderly of new online traps,cultivate their democratic legal awareness,and break down obstacles to improving their legal literacy.At present,the overall environment encourages the elderly to embrace the digital society,and the elderly population is gradually expanding in the field of new media.New media platforms support the participation of the elderly population and provide useful experiences for reference,undoubtedly providing certain feasibility for new media to enhance the legal literacy of the elderly population.Based on this,it is neces-sary to clarify the concept of enhancing the legal literacy of the elderly in the context of new media,innovate new media promotion methods,improve the integration between new media,strengthen new media legislation,and con-trol the media environment in order to truly play the role of new media in promoting the legal literacy of the elder-ly population.
