An Analysis of Paiyao's"Pendulum Flow"Family Strategy in Village Transformation——Based on an Empirical Study of N village in Northern Guangdong Province
In the current process of urbanization in China,villages inevitably face transformation.During this process,individual villagers rationally practice family strategies to better fulfill various family functions.Based on the investigation and analysis of Village N in northern Guangdong,this study finds that,in the transformation of villages,it has become the norm for different family members to live separately in the city and the countryside.Family members frequently"pendulum"between the city and the countryside to better fulfill various family functions.Therefore,we need to view the current transformation of villages in China from the perspective of urban-rural interaction.
