On the Phenomenon of"Adaptability Negative Effect"in Corn Planting:A New Explanation of the Genesis of Karst Rocky Desertification in Southwest China
Rocky desertification in the south and desertification in the north are two major ecological and environmental problems plaguing China. In order to explore the causes of karst rocky desertification in southwest China, this paper uses the literature review method, the participatory field investigation method and the empirical method to sort out the various causes of karst rocky desertification in the past 40 years, and takes Guizhou as an example to elaborate the three stages of rocky desertification formation and the relationship between rocky desertification and corn.On this basis, there is a phenomenon of"negative adaptability effect"of corn in rocky desertification area, which can reasonably explain the formation of karst rocky desertification in southwest China.Different from the previous theories of various causes, the proposal of this viewpoint can make a new explanation for the formation of karst rocky desertification in Southwest China, and also provide theoretical support and scientific basis for the treatment of rocky desertification in Southwest China.
