The Communist Party of China has explored a path of socialism with Chinese characteristics and a national mechanism with Chinese characteristics that are in line with China's national conditions.Since the convening of the Fourth World Conference on Women in 1995,the establishment of national mechanisms to promote gender equality has become an important indicator to measure the status of women and gender equality in a country.As a responsible major country,China has used the national mechanism with Chinese characteristics to effectively safeguard the rights and interests of women and ensure that women enjoy the same rights and opportunities as men in social,economic and political fields so as to create a favorable institutional environment for promoting gender equality and women's development.
