The Historical Mission and Realistic Responsibility of Academic Journals from the Perspective of Cultural Confidence
Cultural confidence,as an important part of the"Four Confidences",has guiding significance for building a strong cultural country and spreading Chinese civilization.The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposes to promote cultural confidence and self-improvement,and create new brilliance in socialist culture.As an important component of the socialist cultural enterprise,academic journals have been endowed with a new historical mission in the new era.Academic journals should adopt new concepts and frameworks to play a significant role in disseminating,promoting,and leading academic scholarship.They should firmly establish cultural confidence,build a cohesive and guiding socialist ideology,inherit and promote excellent traditional Chinese culture,construct an independent Chinese knowledge system using Chinese discourse,and advance the modern civilization of the Chinese nation.By effectively managing academic journals in the new era,they can convey Chinese discourse to the world.
